France's Autorité des Marchés Financiers is calling upon investors to be wary of an initial coin offering (ICO) by the entity known as Cash Flash, along with other suspect products.

Cash Flash, according to the regualtor, is not authorised to market products in France as it has not been approved by the AMF. This has not stopped it from publishing a white paper on its website at https://cashflash.io/?lang=fr, containing information suggesting that it has obtained the AMF approval, as defined by Article L 552-4 Monetary and Financial Code. The AMF has in fact only given its "approbation" to two ICOs: French-ICO in December and WPO in May.

Meanwhile, the AMF is warning the public against several other companies that promote atypical investments without being authorised to do so. These are:

  • aldgate-advisors.com
  • fc-managementgroup.com
  • www.financialpartners-ltd.com
  • horizon-patrimoine.com
  • www.i-financial-advisor.com
  • indigo-investissement.com
  • www.klimek-consulting.com
  • palaisduwhisky.com
  • www.providence-investissement.com

Since 1 January the AMF has added 52 websites to its list of unauthorised entities that promote atypical investments. Over the previous year, it submitted 112 names all told.

These websites may change very quickly and this list is not intended to be exhaustive. Any offer to invest in miscellaneous assets must be registered with the AMF if it is to be marketed.
