The UK's Financial Conduct Authority has made its Market Data Processor (MDP) entity portal available for firms that have to obtain samples of transaction reports from it for data reconciliation purposes.

Users can find more information about the entity portal on the regulator's website, which will show them how to register and make use of the test transaction report data extract facility.

The FCA has also recently updated the legal entity identifier (LEI) section on its website to provide further clarity about who has the obligation to renew the LEI under the transaction reporting regime.
