Legal & General Investment Management has announced the appointment of Camille Blackburn as chief compliance officer, subject to regulatory approval.

Formerly the CCO at Aviva Investors, Camille will join LGIM in January, replacing Teresa Poy who has retired. She will oversee the company’s global compliance set-up and report to Margaret Ammon, the chief risk officer, who is going to join the company in February and who works at present at M&G plc.

Between January 2014 and December 2015, she was a principal advisor to the Australian Treasury for the Australian Financial System Inquiry and Capability Review of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Other positions she has held include: head of regulatory risk (equities) at Citigroup Global Markets Australia; Asia-Pacific compliance head for a large money-services-and-cards business and senior executive leader in the investment banking division of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
