Highvern has appointment Natalie Jelley, an ex-regulator and former head of compliance for a FTSE-100-owned trust and funds business based in Jersey, as compliance director.

In her former job Jelley (née Milroy) was responsible for the compliance function of six different service lines and four jurisdictions at trust and funds business Link Asset Services (formerly Capita Asset Services). She worked at the Jersey Financial Services Commission as its funds supervision manager and previously spent eight years in an audit capacity at Ernst & Young.

Aidan O’Flanagan, Highvern's head of funds, said: “Natalie’s expertise speaks for itself. In a world where regulation is becoming increasingly demanding, we continue to attract the best staff to help us manage our clients’ risk.”

Highvern Trustees launched its new fund service business in Jersey, Highvern Fund Administrators, on 1 January. It performs a bespoke private capital service with O'Flanagan as its head.
