DFSA signs MoU with Lebanese CMA

Dubai's Financial Services Authority has signed a memorandum of understanding with Lebanon’s Capital Markets Authority, with the sharing of information and supervisory co-operation high on the agenda.
The MoU, among other things, takes some steps (involving the sharing of regualtory information) towards the entry of some financial institutions into the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) from Lebanon. The DFSA also has MoUs in ever member-state of the Gulf Co-operation Council and with Egypt, Jordan and, through its MoU of 2013 with the Banque du Liban, with Lebanon.
Ian Johnston, the CEO of the DFSA, and Mr Sami Saliba, an executive member of the CMA's board, signed the MoU in the offices of the DFSA.
