FCA appoints two practitioners to chair panels

The chairman of the UK's Financial Conduct Authority Chairman, John Griffith-Jones, has appointed new chairmen for the regulator’s Practitioner Panel and Markets Practitioner Panel.
Anne Richards, the chief executive of M&G, will become the chair of the FCA Practitioner Panel on 1 August. She has been on the panel since 2013 and will succeed António Simões, the CEO of HSBC.
John Trundle, the CEO of Euroclear UK & Ireland, is already the new chairman of the FCA Markets Practitioner Panel. He has also been a panel member since 2013 and succeeds Robert Mass, the senior advisor in global compliance at Goldman Sachs.
